We are so proud of our Kitchen Garden crop on our back deck.   Pictures above include three varieties of tomatoes, green peppers, beans, eggplant, cucumbers, hot peppers, zucchini squash of 2009.  These Kitchen garden planters come in grey or white buckets only.  (The colored buckets above are not for sale.)

Now for Sale. Easy to grow "a garden in a bucket" called Kitchen Garden Planters are made locally with 90% recycled materials, 15.5 inches high, 10 x 10 inches sq. They are watered through the watering fill tube that fills a reservoir below the planter tray.  See illustration below. A wicking type action waters the plant from the roots to the surface.  Using a potting soil mix, the 10" x 10" planter area is filled, then a seedling/seed is planted through the mulch cover into the potting mix; the lid is then snapped over the mulch cover plastic keeping it snug. (You will need to have a trellis for tomatoes, cumcumbers, beans, etc.) You are ready to grow a wonderful garden.  Saves water; excellent for saving space in small areas, requires no weeding; automatic watering and fertilizer feeding. They are easy to carry out of bad weather---they have a handle--- and store during the winter months. Easiest gardening you'll ever do. We know this is a great solution for urban dwellers, the elderly or children, and indoor gardeners.

You can purchase planters at home office at 51 21st Ave, #46, Longmont, CO, 80501.

Displayed at the Earth Works Expo, Denver, June, 2008; Aug, 2009; May, 2010 and  Botanical Gardens, 2008.
